your life can be even better and healthier
“The greatest achievement was at first and for a time a dream. The oak sleeps in the acorn… Dreams are the seedlings of realities.”
―James Allen
Everyone wants to change something.
There is a path to get from who you are now to who you want to become. Even if you are not ready to sign up today, I hope you will make a promise to yourself, right now, to stay committed to your positive intentions.
Dreams—or intentions—are fun to think about, but without action they won’t lead to much. Yet, if you invest the time to apply an effective approach, it is possible to actually live your dreams.
Do you know what you want, but not how to get from here to there?
It isn’t your fault.
You deserve better.
You can trust yourself.
It’s not as hard as you think.
Imagine how much better your life and health can be once you apply effective habit building strategies and practice what works!
Many of us get stuck in this conceptual phase, though. We worry making change will be too hard, or we will mess up on the way, or we won’t do it “right.”
Guess what? A big part of committing to making change means giving up the pursuit of perfection without letting go of your high standards.
By orienting your mind away from avoiding failure and turning your intentions toward achieving success, you leave the limiting trap of toxic perfectionism behind.
I’m Dr. Gia Marson
I want to help you turn your goals into your reality.
I created this self-paced course to help you build healthy, helpful, habits. As a psychologist, writer, and consultant, I am committed to going beyond the reach of the therapy room. While I absolutely love working one on one with individuals and families as they heal and thrive, I’m also devoted to making accessible to as many people as possible the science of what works, along with effective clinical lessons I have learned along the way. This passion for helping others is what prompted me to write and build this course.
It is a joy to share it with you!

What’s included in this course?
You’ll start by getting curious and investigating what is working for you and what isn’t. You’ll take an in-depth look at dimensions of wellness and determine how well your habits are aligned with your goals in each area. Even if you know your goals already, this lesson can help you fine-tune them. Once your focus is clear, you’ll set personal intentions.
In this lesson, you’ll develop the superskill of cultivating helpful, healthy thoughts that lead you in the direction you want to go. A video on positive self-talk, along with strategies for changing the tone of the conversations you have with yourself, will empower you in getting what you want.
You’ll figure out the meaning behind the goals you’re driving toward. Knowing why you want to grow or change can boost your resolve on days when your motivation is lower. You’ll also learn about the proven benefits of visualization, including hearing about the way it worked for Olympic athlete and 23-time gold medal winner, Michael Phelps.
You’ll be reminded that your brain can—and wants to—learn. You’ll see how laying down new neural pathways is a key to lasting change, and you’ll be invited to practice the new routines that build those brain connections. You’ll also learn to use mental rewards that make sticking with the successful steps you’ve taken more likely.
This lesson is all about motivation. You’ll discover the keys to motivation and how to take advantage of them to turn your intentions into reality. Throughout the course, you’ll practice self-compassion to stay patient and never give up on yourself. To bring it all together, you’ll be given a 10-step list that outlines the specifics for sustaining your new habits and for implementing new ones in the future.
I know that being able to stick with new habits is no easy task, and I want to support your commitment even after you complete this course. That’s why you’ll have the opportunity to create your own digital journal. At the end of this course, you can downloaded it as a reminder of what was helpful. That way, when you need a skills refresher or added support for the next part of your journey, you’ll have helpful tools at hand.
